May I Teach With Your Love

Lord
Give me a heart
that sees the good
in all my neighbors

A heart that judges not
but seeks to lift others
that they might share the
wonderful Good News
that You give to us all

If they listen
let me rejoice
if they refuse
let me not judge
but leave that as rightfully Yours
in the last day

And maybe Lord
just maybe
Your Love
with which You control my heart
will catch their eye
in my humble service to You
so that their heart will be
bound up and delivered unto You
as was mine in our beginning
